Who We Are

We are a Community Interest Company (CIC) - a market set up and run by traders for the benefit of the wider community.

Primrose Hill Food Market successfully launched in March 2020 a few weeks before the first lockdown. Despite the change of events(!) - we have gone from strength to strength since the launch and have big plans for our future in Primrose Hill.

Since launching, we have worked with a number of charities including St Mary’s Youth Centre who we raised over £2500 for in December.

Thank you for all the support! We are looking forward to growing the market with you. See some lovely testimonials below and photos of our local customers.

“The Market is one of the best things that has happened in this neighbourhood and I feel much safer shopping here than any other shops in the area. A fabulous local initiative”

“You cannot buy fresh newly picked vegetables anywhere in Primrose Hill like the stalls in the market. I rely on the butcher and fishmonger there”

“Primrose Hill Food Market has been run so well throughout COVID and we are lucky to have it”

“I have been super-impressed with how the market has been managed - the free hand sanitiser, the gloves, the distancing… it is so well done and felt much safer than going to a giant supermarket. Bonus: no plastic!”
